UNITED STATES - The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) has released the latest list of the Proposition 65, dated August 25, 2015.
Proposition 65 is officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986. The main purpose of this law is to protect the drinking water sources from being contaminated with chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm, and requires businesses to inform Californians about potential exposures to such chemicals that may be in the products they purchase for their homes or workplaces or that are released into the environment.
