Chemical and microbiological testing

Chemicals may be present in packaging materials to achieve specific performance goals or unintentionally due to contaminations or impurities. We provide a wide portfolio of chemical testing according to current legislation of your target markets, such as: 

• Heavy metals according to Toxics in Packaging Clearinghouse (TPCH) and Packaging Directive 94/62/EC  
• Model Toxics in Packaging Legislation for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)

• For environmental product declarations (EPDs) we provide information disclosure of a product’s environmental impact from a life cycle perspective.
• Our product carbon footprint verification program can help you demonstrate that the carbon footprint of the packaging meets industry standards, such as International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14067.
