Life cycle assessment (LCA) provides a standardized, cradle-to-grave evaluation of a product’s environmental impact, including raw material extraction, manufacturing, distribution, use and end-of-life management. This comprehensive analysis helps producers meet EPR requirements by:

A product category rule (PCR) is a set of guidelines that define how to conduct a life cycle assessment (LCA) and report environmental impacts for a specific product category.
