NSF/ANSI 50

In addition to UL Solutions’ extensive knowledge of international and UL safety standards, the UL mark for NSF/ANSI 50 - 2015 Equipment for swimming pools, spas, hot tubs and other recreational water facilities is an approved and accepted mark in all U.S. national and local markets with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs).

Our flexible follow-up services (FUS) program for NSF/ANSI 50 allows for a single inspection per year without a five-year recertification requirement for certified products. UL Solutions’ continuing certification process is focused on keeping safe, compliant products in the market during and after standard revisions. If the standard is revised, an impact assessment will be done on the revisions. If the revisions are found not to have a significant impact on the product(s), no further testing or evaluation will be required. If the revisions are found to have a significant impact on your products, a suitable timeline will be set and communicated to confirm compliance.

We can conduct testing and provide certifications to IEC 60034-1, IEC 60034-2-1, IEC 60335-1, and GB 14711, just to name a few.

Energy Star®

UL Solutions is a global leader in energy efficiency product testing and certification. We were the first third-party testing, inspection and certification (TIC) company to obtain Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO) accreditation for energy efficiency and the first to offer small motor energy efficiency testing for the Department of Energy (DOE) regulations (10 CFR, Part 431). We can help you navigate the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ENERGY STAR® program for your motors and pumps.

We offer testing to IE1, IE2, IE3 and even IE4 efficiency levels, and can provide test reports or CoC to help demonstrate compliance. And by applying an Alternative Energy Determination Method (AEDM) to your product line, we can simplify your testing and inspection requirements.
