The construction of an industrial control panel (ICP) is often associated with challenges in complying with certification requirements. Recently, UL 508A, the Standard for Industrial Control Panels, had a series of revisions that are intended to help it keep up with the fast pace of technological development in the world of industrial automation. The pace is not expected to slow anytime soon.
So, to further support UL 508A customers and facilitate faster and more streamlined notifications of updates, we will communicate those revisions and changes to the Standard through the following two pages on UL.com:
When a change is made to UL 508A, it will be reflected in the pages above, and then it will be communicated through the UL Energy and Industrial Outlook monthly newsletter. So, subscribe to the newsletter today to stay informed – and let your colleagues know as well.
