OEHHA Issues Notice of Intent to List 1-Bromopropane under Proposition 65

The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) has issued a Notice of Intent to include 1-Bromopropane under Proposition 65, under the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986.

1-Bromo-propane(106-94-5) Cancer National Toxicology Pro-gram (NTP)2014
  • Used as a solvent cleaner in vapor and immersion degreasing operations for cleaning metals, plastics, and electronic and optical components
  • Also used in dry cleaning, asphalt production, and solvent and adhesive spray
  • Has been used as an intermediate in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, insecticides, quaternary ammonium compounds,
