The Ministry of Public Health of Thailand (MOPH) published Requirements for Production Processes, Production Equipment, Storage and Labeling of Some Fresh Fruits or Vegetables on November 1, 2016.
The document specifies minimum requirements for good packaging practice and the information that must be provided by importers. Specifically, the labeling shall provide the following:
1) Name and address of producer (packing house) or importer and country of origin
2) Registration Number
3) Code or Number of production lot
A public consultation for 40 days is open for the said regulation.
