DGN Proposes Revision to Textile Labeling Standards

MEXICO  ̶  The Dirección General de Normas (DGN) of Mexico is proposing several revisions to the textile labeling standard, NMX-A-240-INNTEX-2009, establishing a system of care labels for the proper instructions in washing, bleaching, drying and ironing to protect textiles from damage during processing. The proposed revisions are released through a notice in the Diario Oficial de la Federación.

NMX-A-240-INNTEX-2009 will be replaced with the updated standard, NMX-A-3758-INNTEX-2014.
