Canada Releases Infant Feeding Bottle Nipples Regulation

Canada has issued regulation SOR/2016-180 Infant Feeding Bottle Nipples Regulations.

The regulation prescribes a total volatile N-nitrosamines content limit of not more than 10 μg/kg for infant feeding bottle nipples, as determined by dichloromethane extraction.

Published in the Canada Gazette on July 13, 2016, the regulation entered into force on June 22, 2016.
