Laboratory will conduct research, testing and quality assurance for sustainable building materials for the Chinese market
MARIETTA, GA., May 30, 2018 — UL and MACO Group Corporation, a company specializing in the production and sale of sustainable building products including coatings, adhesives, dry mixed mortar, and waterproof coatings, today announced an agreement to develop a volatile organic compound (VOC) testing laboratory for MACO to perform internal research, testing, and quality assurance. In addition, MACO achieved GREENGUARD certification for its cement-based and gypsum-based construction materials.
UL is a global leader in indoor air quality and product emissions testing. In addition to the development of the laboratory for MACO, UL will provide MACO with training and expert knowledge to help the company determine their product's chemical emissions.
