Taiwan Abolishes Food Anti-Oxidant Test Methods

The Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) has eliminated testing methods for anti-oxidant foods, namely fat gallic acid n-propyl ester, tertiary butyl hydroquinone, n-dihydro guaiac acid, butylated hydroxy-methoxy benzene and toluene, and dibutyl hydroxy.

The ordinance will enter into force on May 1, 2016.
