Study: Consumers Possibly Swayed by Cosmetics Product Packaging

New research suggests that, in order to be successful, cosmetics manufacturers should take note of how their products are packaged and how consumers react to that packaging.

In one instance, consumers provided feedback that they shied away from one product because the packaging was likely to get dirty. Some cosmetics manufacturers have already begun to take note of their packaging, such as changing packaging from a film to a tube to prevent damage, or adding a spray to allow consumers to easily dispense the product.
