Managing Quality & Safety in AM will focus on AM process and material hazard management and how to assure quality and safety in part production. Discussion topics will also address product safety issues; design validation factors; creating an assessment strategy; and quality and safety assessment of material suppliers. The Workshop price also includes access to The QUALITY Show. Workshop attendees will receive a certificate of completion.

Paul Bates, Manager of the UL Additive Manufacturing Competency Center (AMCC), will be leading the workshop. “We’re excited to bring this topic to The QUALITY Show. Regardless of the manufacturing process, safety and quality are critical considerations. Additive Manufacturing (AM) is still a relatively new process.  While end products produced with this technology must meet all existing product requirements, they also need to account for the numerous variables of AM. Attendees should plan on bringing their questions…I expect a lively discussion.”
