The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) has listed Trichloroethylene as a chemical known to cause reproductive toxicity. The listing took place on January 31, 2014 and, as with all newly listed chemicals, a twelve month grace period is in effect before Proposition 65 exposure warning requirements apply.
The listing is made based upon the formal identification by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), as a chemical that causes reproductive toxicity (developmental and male reproductive endpoints).
