ISO Releases Standard on Food Products

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has published the new standard ISO 16634-2:2016 Food Products -- Determination of the Total Nitrogen Content by Combustion according to the Dumas Principle and Calculation of the Crude Protein Content -- Part 2: Cereals, Pulses and Milled Cereal Products.

The standard specifies a method for determining the total nitrogen content and calculating the crude protein content of cereals, pulses and milled cereal products.

The standard revises ISO/TS 16634-2:2009 and was published on May 20, 2016.
