The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has proposed a standard intended for cosmetics.
The standard is named as ISO/FDIS 16212 Cosmetics -- Microbiology -- Enumeration of yeast and mould.
This is being developed by ISO/TC 217 Cosmetics and currently in 50.00 Final text received or FDIS registered for formal approval as of September 26, 2016.
