FDA Releases Warning on the Use of Homeopathic Teething Tablets and Gels

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has released a warning concerning the use of homeopathic teething tablets and gels. These products are identified to pose a risk to infants and children.

FDA advises to stop and dispose the use of these products immediately. Use of these products may result to the following medical conditions after using homeopathic teething tablets or gels: seizures, difficulty breathing, lethargy, excessive sleepiness, muscle weakness, skin flushing, constipation, difficulty urinating, or agitation.

The warning was released on September 30, 2016.
