China Releases "Safety of Toys - Part 1: Basic Norms" and Four Mandatory National Standards

China’s State Standards Committee has approved the release of the following toy safety basic norms:

  • Toy Safety - Part 1: “Basic specifications”
  • Toy Safety - Part 2: “Mechanical and physical properties”
  • Safety of toys - Part 3: “Flammable Performance”
  • Toy Safety - Part 4: “Migration of certain elements four mandatory national standards”

The approval and release of these standards are based on China's national conditions, and refer to the "Toy Safety" international standard (ISO 8124).
