This testing is carried out in the UK at a European Notified Body and is accredited to ISO 17025 to verify performance of exit devices.
To help our customers remain competitive in the market, UL offers guaranteed service levels and short lead times. We provide test results on the day of testing and a full report within two weeks of test completion.
The value of ANSI/UL 305 testing:
- Testing for Multiple Markets – Simultaneous testing, evaluation and certification options are available for the ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Standard and the ULC/CAN-S132 Standard for the Canadian Market to help you gain maximum benefit from every test plan.
- BHMA Acceptance – Testing can be used in support of ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Certification via the BHMA process.
- Demonstrated Compliance – Evidence which shows compliance with the requirements of NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code) and NFPA 80 (Fire Doors and Other Opening Protectives).
