Wind Certification
Overview
As renewable energy technologies advance, their continued safety, reliability and performance must be assured. As safety science experts, we help you navigate these risks through certification for products, projects and grid code compliance. The UL certification verifies compliance and helps to provide assurance and confidence in the reliability of renewable energy technology.
Certification for wind
We offer comprehensive certification services for wind turbines, components and systems according to international and national standards and regulations, e.g., IEC 61400 series, GL guidelines, UL 6141, the Standard for Wind Turbines Permitting Entry of Personnel, and IECRE. We address your needs by aligning our wide range of services to find a combination of solutions that most rapidly and efficiently brings your product to market.

Certification for solar
We understand the challenges of introducing new products and technologies. We created the first photovoltaic module Standard in 1986 and have since helped hundreds of PV manufacturers test and certify their products so that they can take them to market. We occupy a key leadership position in major international standards development and harmonization bodies, such as the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). We are also investing in new standards development for innovative or enhanced technologies, such as modules, inverters, converters and balance of system (BOS).
