Code officials, design professionals and other stakeholders work tirelessly to ensure that fire alarm systems are installed per applicable codes, standard and design requirements. However, after systems are installed it can be a challenge for many jurisdictions to ensure required ongoing code compliance.
The UL fire alarm certification program is designed to give code authorities and stakeholders the confidence and reliability that fire alarm system functionality, monitoring, inspection, testing, maintenance and fire alarm company service delivery are in compliance with nationally recognized codes and standards, through regular assessment and oversight at no cost to jurisdictions.
This webinar series provides attendees the framework of building code, fire code and NFPA 72, National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, the standard for fire alarm systems compliance, monitoring, maintenance and service requirements for supervising station fire alarm systems.
