This is the last in a series of four webinars designed to give code authorities and alarm companies a better understanding of UL’s alarm certificate services program and how it relates to nationally recognized codes and standards.

This webinar gives a brief overview of the previous three webinars in this series and a road map for code authorities is presented to help determine the most appropriate system type for their communities or target occupancies for requiring a fire alarm certification program, such as UL's fire alarm certification program. This program assists in helping to ensure compliant fire alarm systems and service that helps protect people and property.

  • Understand the UL fire alarm certificate services program based on NFPA 72, National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, requirements
  • Describe how UL Certification provides confidence and reliability for code compliant fire alarm systems
  • Explain and discuss building and fire codes and NFPA 72 requirements for fire alarm systems monitoring and compliance methodologies.
