We facilitate market readiness from Europe to the world

UL is a trusted, single-source provider for the entire lighting supply chain. From the design stage, where the design of your product or prototype needs to match the applicable requirements, right through the point it reaches your customer, we help you meet the constantly evolving needs of the lighting industry.

From Russia to Australia passing, through Saudi Arabia and China to arrive in the U.S., we connect the world with a complete portfolio of local and personalized services.

Bringing safer products to multiple markets: UL and the IECEE CB Scheme

The IECEE CB Scheme is an international network of product certification organizations dedicated to facilitating international trade through mutual acceptance of product test reports and certificates. The CB Scheme helps manufacturers obtain multiple international certifications from a single National Certification Body (NCB).

We are one of the largest and most active CB Scheme members and operate with four NCBs in different countries and over 50 CB Testing Laboratories (CBTLs) to provide you local service with global coverage.

As a single point of product testing for global market access, we help you navigate the complex regulatory landscape of global markets. For this reason, our experts have developed this GMA passport for lighting to provide an overview of the main international market requirements and simplify your global market entry.
