Certification for Rough and Finished Plumbing Products

We provide manufacturers of plumbing products with industry-leading turnaround times and competitive pricing for certification services.

Water faucet

Demonstrate IPC and UPC compliance

The UL Mark for plumbing products demonstrates compliance with both the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), as well as the applicable United States and Canadian recognized health-effects and performance-testing standards. Evaluation criteria include materials, physical characteristics, performance testing and marking requirements to help ensure your fixture and fittings perform as expected.

Watersense certification

In addition to certifying products to plumbing code standards, we also offer WaterSense® certification for the following product types: commercial prerinse spray valves, flushing urinals, flushometer-valve toilets, lavatory faucets, showerheads and tank-type toilets. WaterSense is a partnership program sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

As water scarcity becomes a growing concern, manufacturers leverage WaterSense to prove their products use less water without compromising performance. Certification is required under green building codes, the LEED program, and in some areas, the plumbing code itself. Working with us for WaterSense certification shows a commitment to water conservation.
