UL’s ICQ MED Textile Laboratory Accredited for CPSIA Testing

ICQ MED is now registered with the CPSC as an accredited laboratory for CPSIA third-party testing, to assist clients with the testing and certification requirements under the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 for the following regulations:

  • Lead Paint Regulation, 16 CFR Part 1303 (CPSC-CH-E1003-09 or CPSC-CH-E1003-09.1)
  • Small Parts Regulation, 16 CFR Part 1501
  • Lead in Non-Metal Children's Products, CPSC-CH-E1002-08 and/or CPSC-CH-E1002-08.1 and/or CPSC-CH-E1002-08.2

Located in Tunisia, ICQ MED is the only laboratory accredited for CPSIA third-party testing in the African continent.
