UL Solutions in Basingstoke Adds Lighting Safety Testing

In early 2023, UL Solutions opened a new laboratory space to accommodate testing lighting manufacturers and distributors at the company’s Basingstoke, England, facility. UL Solutions added the laboratory to its United Kingdom (U.K.) location, which already conducted extensive commercial electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and wireless testing. The additional laboratory space now allows for connected products and systems to be tested at one facility.

The new laboratory space utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and the expertise of UL Solutions lighting engineers and technicians. Available services include electrical safety, environmental, materials, endurance and wireless electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing for lighting.
