UL Coordinates Medical Cybersecurity Efforts with the US Government

February 8, 2016

On December 1, Anura Fernando and Ken Modeste presented UL’s progress in developing a Cyber Assurance Program (CAP) at the Software and Supply Chain Assurance (SSCA) Forum in the Washington DC area.  SSCA meets on a quarterly basis and is co-sponsored by the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), US Department of Defense, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and the General Services Administration (GSA). At the invitation of DHS and GSA, UL participated in this forum since the inception of CAP. The program’s scope and progress was well received by a broad section of critical stakeholders from industry, academia, and government.
