On February 20, 2023, Taiwan’s Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) published the amendment to Categories and Management of Handling for Toxic Chemical Substances which aims to tighten the use of organotin compounds.
When the draft amendment was published in October last year, an article regarding it was posted on UL’s Regulatory Update site. The finalized amendment is aligned with the draft.
The amendment came into effect on the date of its publication. For further information, please refer to the article regarding the draft and the official amendment.

- Check if your products contain any toxic chemical substance.
- Adhere to the guidelines on management of handling the regulated substances.
