The latest update on the electronic certification platform of Saudi Arabia (SABER) is it now requires the mandatory association of the commercial register number of the local supplier with the G-Mark certificates.
The association between the local supplier commercial register number and the G-Mark certificates shall be carried out on the GCC Standardization Organization (GSO) Portal where the approved G-Mark certificates are registered.
This process shall be done by the local supplier or a local representative on the GSO Portal before requesting the equivalent product conformity certificate on SABER. The SABER e-platform will not allow the importer/local supplier to obtain the SABER product conformity certificate unless the GCTS number of the Gulf Type Examination Certificate is already connected to the commercial register number of the applicant.
