Mexico has published Mexican Official Standard NOM-073-SSA1-2015, Stability of Drugs and Medicines as well as Herbal Remedies in its Official Gazette on June 6, 2016.
The standard establishes the specifications and requirements of the stability studies, and design and implementation, which should apply to drugs, medicines and herbal remedies for human use that are marketed in national territory, as well as to drugs used for research purposes.
The standard shall be enforced 180 days from its publication in the Official Gazette.
