The Mexican government has notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) of its ‘Draft Mexican Official Standard PROY-NOM-140-SCFI-2016: School Supplies - Scissors - Specifications and Test Methods.’
The notified document, which cancels the 1999 version, establishes safety and labeling requirements for school scissors intended to be used by children and adolescents of pre-school and school age.
Comments may be submitted sixty days after its publication in the Official Journal.
