The transition to renewable energy sources such as wind, solar and hydropower is critical to addressing climate change and empowering a sustainable future. The cable industry plays a vital role in this transformation, as it provides the infrastructure necessary to transmit and distribute renewable energy from its source to end users. However, traditional cable systems were designed for conventional power grids, posing challenges for integrating variable and distributed renewable energy sources.
