Flammable Refrigerants: Environmental Safety Versus Fire Safety
Greenhouse gases have contributed to climate change and ozone depletion. The encouraging perspective is the recognition of this contribution has led more than 180 nations to initiate changes to the products that have given rise to these conditions. As a result of these findings, the refrigerant industry has worked over the last decade to develop new materials that are more environmentally friendly, with the goal of reducing damaging greenhouse gases.
This webinar will discuss some of the contributing factors driving these changes, the impact they may have on fire safety, and the challenges of increased burning velocity for developed A2L refrigerants.
