Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Recognize and react safely when there is an outbreak or pandemic
  • Explain how to prevent catching and spreading diseases

Safe Return to the Workspace: Preparing Yourself (click to complete)

When employers determine it is safe to return to workspaces, aspects of a health threat may still be present. This course looks at evaluating personal wellness before returning to the workplace.

  • Correctly use transmission mitigation equipment (TME) like face coverings and gloves
  • Anticipate entry checkpoints

This course provides basic information as it relates to infection control principles. 

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Define nosocomial infections
  • Describe prevention measures against transferring nosocomial infections
  • Describe the employer's responsibility in controlling the spread of nosocomial infections
