A UL Customized Offering for Manufacturers With Limited Production for North American Markets

Are you a manufacturer who needs to ship a limited quantity of products to North America?
UL launched a new program to give manufacturers the opportunity to ship a limited quantity of UL Certified products to North America, without the need to specify the final installation site, and without incurring the full certification process with inspections and annual fees.
The Single Batch Certification completes UL service offerings, together with our Listing program and Field Evaluations. All requirements of the Listing program need to be applied and a dedicated UL label, with a unique serial number, will be created and attached to the product.
HOW IT WORKS
The Single Batch Certification is applicable to a limited batch of production in a limited time-frame.
The construction review and evaluation can be done at UL or client’s facility and possible destructive testing is anticipated (depending on the category and technical requirements).
The product complies with the applicable requirements, UL will witness the UL Mark being applied for the whole batch to confirm that the products eligible to bear the UL Mark are representative of the samples evaluated, tested and certified.
