Update - Revisiting Flammable Refrigerants

On January 11, 2011, thirty-five representatives from stakeholder organizations participated in a forum hosted by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) on the introduction and use of flammable refrigerants in appliances and HVAC/R equipment in the United States. The impetus for the forum and overall marketplace situation at the time was summarized in UL’s 2011 white paper, “Revisiting Flammable Refrigerants.” Additional observations were recorded in the forum meeting Report.
