Systems Engineering, Requirements and Architecture

SE-ZERT® Certified Systems Engineer (GfSE®) Level B

As part of the SE-ZERT® Level B certification program, participants will learn the fundamental methodologies of systems engineering and how to manage cross-functional tasks and interfaces to other processes.

The SE-ZERT® Level B training by GfSE, the German chapter of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), equips professionals with practical, application-oriented skills to manage moderately complex product development projects. Aligned with ISO/IEC 15288 and the INCOSE Handbook on Systems Engineering (SE), the program covers key topics including requirements management, architecture and SE leadership.

Level B builds on existing foundational knowledge and is aimed at professionals with practical experience in SE. The training emphasizes the application of SE methods and prepares participants to take on leadership roles within multidisciplinary teams, managing SE tasks independently and interfacing effectively across disciplines.

Key takeaways

In addition to the fundamental content outlined in the INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook, this course offers in-depth insights into functional safety and security, and how they can be efficiently integrated into product development.

This change of reservation is free of charge; seminars spanning several days may be transferred only in their entirety, i.e. attended by one substitute.

Date cancellations and date changes

The training provider has the right to change the location of events and/or specify a different date as a substitute. The training provider also reserves the right to cancel dates for organizational reasons (e.g. number of participants too low, illness of the speaker at short notice).

The training provider will notify the participant of the cancellation and of the reason with-out undue delay and will attempt to change the participant's reservation, provided that he agrees to a different date or event location. Otherwise, the full amount of any already paid attendance fee will be refunded in the case of a cancellation; no further claims exist, particularly no refund of travel and/or accommodation cost.
