UL together with key industry stakeholders will be presenting at the 2017 IECEx World Symposium being held in Washington D.C. on 27 September 2017. The event is being held in conjunction with the 2017 annual meetings of the IECEx System.
Paul T. Kelly of UL will lead a discussion on Wednesday, 27 September 2017. He will provide a global certification perspective on NEC versus IEC principles, including codes, standards, and regulations for hazardous location (HazLoc) equipment and services. In addition, Paul will address how NEC and IEC HazLoc requirements impact facilities and product lines, and identify barriers to global design, production and installation of HazLoc equipment.
