Critical systems that are directly or indirectly connected to the internet are vulnerable to cyberattacks. Whether it is automotive electronics, medical devices or IT systems connected to digital services, they are all at risk of being compromised. This is where our training comes in.
We provide a thorough introduction to cybersecurity and information security, from threat and risk analysis to management systems designed to identify and address risks.
We provide
- Courses on ISO/SAE 21434
- Courses on additional international regulations
- How-to courses for practitioners
- Campus Enterprise learning
Each training course focuses on different specific state-of-the-art methods, standards and guidelines to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.
The right training course for every need
From introductory courses for cybersecurity beginners to executive-level courses, our offerings go beyond technical topics and cover all relevant aspects.
The starting point of our training courses is the so-called Defender's Dilemma: while breaches are inevitable because defenders have to be right at all times, attackers only have to be right once. They only need one weakness they can exploit to compromise the defender's organization or product.
Therefore, comprehensive protection must be implemented holistically, from the top down, with management systems in place to ensure that risks are identified and addressed in a systematic and structured manner at both the product and process level.
We teach you industry best practices and regulatory requirements by covering the latest standards and regulations. We also show you how to interpret and apply them in an integrated way.
All cybersecurity courses are also available as private courses. Our instructors will train your staff online or on-site so that you can tailor the course to your specific needs.
Understanding ISO/SAE 21434 – Automotive Cybersecurity Engineering
ISO/SAE 21434 specifies engineering requirements for cybersecurity risk management for all lifecycle phases, including concept, product development, production, operation, maintenance, and decommissioning of electrical and electronic (E/E) systems in road vehicles, including their components and interfaces. ISO/SAE 21434 also specifies the requirements for establishing a Cybersecurity Management System (CSMS) to meet the regulatory requirements of UN R155.
Cybersecurity Professional in Automotive – ISO/SAE 21434 (UL Certified)
Three-day course on security management systems and processes required by ISO/SAE 21434
Automotive Cybersecurity Engineering
Three-day course on methods and techniques that support the development of secure vehicle systems
TARA in Practice
One-day course on performing an initial Threat Analyses and Risk Assessment (TARA) in accordance with ISO/SAE 21434
Executive Overview of ISO/SAE 21434
Half-day session providing an understanding of the organizational implications of ISO/SAE 21434 processes and work products
Introduction to ISO/SAE 21434
Full-day session providing managers and responsible engineers with an understanding of the organizational implications of ISO/SAE 21434 processes and work products
Understanding additional automotive cybersecurity regulations
In the context of the UNECE regulations, other requirements apply in addition to a Cybersecurity Management System (CSMS). For example, UN R156 requires the implementation of a Software Update Management System (SUMS for short), described in detail in ISO 24089. Vehicles for the Chinese market must meet requirements beyond UNECE regulations 155 and 156 in order to obtain type approval.
Chinese GB/UNECE R155 and R156 Comparison
Two-day course with in-depth insights on both the Chinese GBs, 44495-2024 and 44496-2024, and a comparison to their European counterparts
Software Update Management System Based on ISO 24089
Comprehensive one-day course exploring the critical building blocks of software update management systems and emphasizing the application of ISO 24089 to perform software update activities
With our cybersecurity training courses, we provide you with answers to the central questions of automotive cybersecurity engineering and show you how to set up and establish appropriate activities over the entire product lifecycle and the service life of a model line.
