HVAC Performance Services Brochure
Advancing innovation in energy-efficient, low-GWP HVACR systems and high-efficiency commercial heat pumps at our expanded Performance Center of Excellence.
At our Plano, Tex. facility, we help you meet the growing demand for energy-efficient heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) systems and advance your sustainability goals through testing and certification services.
We combine advanced equipment, specialized testing environments and deep engineering expertise to support your product development goals. Our focus is to provide HVACR manufacturers with streamlined workflows by bundling safety and performance evaluations.
Our services are designed to help you demonstrate compliance with global requirements and validate product claims in a highly competitive market. Services include:
Our safety testing services help HVACR manufacturers demonstrate compliance with regional requirements and adapt to changing refrigerant regulations, including the transition to low-global warming potential (GWP) alternatives.
Our Plano HVACR laboratory offers comprehensive performance testing for a wide range of systems, including heat pumps, chillers, information technology (IT) cooling units, walk-in cooler freezers, dehumidifiers and air conditioners up to 30 tons. We test water-source heat pumps — including water-to-air (W2A), water-to-water (W2W) and air-to-water (A2W) configurations — using advanced psychrometric chambers that simulate real-world conditions.
Our chambers support indoor room temperatures from 40 F to 130 F and outdoor temperatures from minus 20 F to 130 F, with humidity control ranging from 20% to 90% relative humidity, enabling precise and repeatable testing across diverse climate scenarios.
