BSI Consults on Draft Standard on Toys

British Standards Institution (BSI) has released the standard ‘16/30337080 DC BS EN 71-8. Safety of Toys. Part 8. Activity Toys for Domestic Use.’

The standard covers the strength of materials, performance testing, and mechanical testing of toys, among others.

The draft was released on September 1, 2016. Comments may be submitted until October 24, 2016.
