Hose or spraybar testing is conducted on at least 5% of critical joints during the first stage of installation of the building envelope system or assembly to evaluate the façade installation quality and to identify any sources of water leakage. This type of curtain wall and rainscreen testing is conducted during the first stage of installation and allows time for remediation of any water leakage problems.
Whole building air barrier/blower door testing is conducted to obtain an overall measurement of the airtightness of a whole building and adjacent spaces to the defined performance requirements resulting in increasing the performance and energy efficiency of a building.
