UL Warns of Potentially Hazardous Cord Set

Northbrook, Ill., February 19, 2009 - Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is notifying consumers and retailers that cord sets manufactured by Exito Electronics Co. Ltd. bear a label with an unauthorized UL Mark. These cord sets do not comply with UL's safety requirements and may pose a risk of shock or fire.

Hazard: These products may overheat, creating a potential risk of electric shock and fire to users.

Identification: On the product: The cord is approximately 2 feet in length and has a blue tag with the following information:
