UL Solutions Issues Warning Over Unauthorized UL Certification Marks on Keller Manufacturing’s Cremation Equipment

Safety certification marks were falsely applied to Keller Manufacturing’s cremation equipment, which UL Solutions has not authorized, posing potential safety risks.

NORTHBROOK, Ill. — July 31, 2026 — UL Solutions (NYSE: ULS), a global leader in applied safety science, has issued a public safety notice regarding cremation equipment products sold by Keller Manufacturing, which bear unauthorized UL certification marks and may pose safety risks.

The products covered by this notice are marked “Keller Manufacturing Inc” and include UL File No. MH47704 near the UL Mark on the nameplate. UL File MH47704 is assigned to a cremation equipment manufacturer that has no involvement with the products addressed in this notice, and the use of their UL File number is not authorized by them or by UL Solutions.

Keller Manufacturing’s products covered under this notice are human and animal cremation systems along with incinerators that have model numbers beginning with “KMH, KMA and KMB.” The affected products have been found on Keller Manufacturing’s website at https://keller-mfg.com/.

The “KMH, KMA and KMB” model series identified above are not authorized to bear a UL Mark. Any references to UL certification on the Keller Manufacturing website are also not authorized.
