UL Warns of Potentially Hazardous Battery Pack and Battery Charger with Counterfeit UL Marks (Release 13PN-43)

Northbrook, IL -September 3, 2013 - The following is a notification from UL to consumers and retailers that 1) the Battery Pack identified below bears a counterfeit UL Mark for the United States and 2) the Battery Charger identified below bears a counterfeit UL Mark for the United States and Canada.  Neither the Battery Pack nor the Battery Charger comply with UL's safety requirements and may pose a fire or shock hazard.

On the product: The battery pack bears a counterfeit UL Mark and the following:

Charge rate: 0.9amp.Never leave battery pack
unattended while charging.
Attention! Secure battery pack to robot away
from sharp corners, edges or screws.
