Managing data for your renewable resource measurement program

UL Solutions’ Data Management Dashboard and monitoring service provides you access to our team of expert meteorologists who work directly with your team to monitor and manage the status of the data collected through your on-site wind or solar measurement program in order to ensure the highest quality of data.

The service is for customers managing met towers, solar stations and remote sensors at one or multiple locations. Our meteorologists will monitor and report on the status of your data weekly, and you will have 24/7 access to our fast, secure online platform.

How our wind and solar data management dashboard works

UL Solutions helps Data Management Dashboard users configure loggers to deliver data to our systems on a regular schedule (e.g., daily), usually via email or FTP. We can also import any data previously collected. Our software will decode and quality control the data as soon as it is received, then it transfers this information to a master database where all your data are stored. A meteorologist will review the data every week to verify the integrity. Once uploaded, you will be able to view your data immediately on the Data Management Dashboard through a password-protected login. Summary reports can be generated at any time and for any period with the click of a button, and both raw and quality-controlled data files can be downloaded to your computer.
