We are pleased to share that UL International Germany GmbH, with offices and laboratories in Neu-Isenburg (Frankfurt am Main, Germany), is now authorized to operate as a Certification Body Testing Laboratory (CBTL) for the first and second parts of the IEC 62841-1 standard.
A team of safety experts is on-location to issue CB Test Certificates (CBTC) and CB reports accepted by other CB Scheme members in various markets and that enable manufacturers to receive the national certification markings.
UL International Germany GmbH is a subsidiary of UL Solutions, a global leader in safety science, and a well-established CB Test Laboratory for several product categories since 2001. It helps to provide Global Market Access in conjunction with UL Solutions’ National Certification Body (NCB), UL Demko.
The expansion of CBTL scope to include the TOOL category and the first edition of IEC 62841-1, together with IEC 62841-2-1 to IEC 62841-2-6 and IEC 62841-2-11, reinforce UL Solutions presence in Europe and allows us to continue to provide a high quality and recognized pathway to international compliance.
