Federal Agency on Technical Regulation and Metrology has issued new standards intended for microbiology of food and food products.
The standards are:
- GOST ISO 20838-2014 Microbiology of food and animal feeding stuffs. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for the detection of food-borne pathogens. Requirements for amplification and detection for qualitative methods
- GOST ISO 15141-2-2013 Foodstuffs. Determination of ochratoxin A in cereals and cereal products. Part 2. High performance liquid chromatographic method with bicarbonate clean up
Both standards are effective on July 1, 2017.
