As technical manager of Retail and Consumer Products, Krystal is a globally engaged regulatory engineer who puts critical chemical safety and regulatory data at our customers’ fingertips so they can maintain compliance, and, more importantly, protect the health and safety of consumers, employees and our world.
Her work supports complex global supply chains in several core areas, including maintaining chemical regulatory data available in WERCSmart® and WERCS Studio, core parts of our ULTRUS™ software portfolio.. She serves as a Strategic Partner on the Retail Industry Leaders Association’s Consumer Products Committee and has presented regulatory updates to their worldwide membership. Krystal also acilitates retail industry working groups, presents at national and international conferences including the Retail Sustainability Conference, and provides customized regulatory research support for manufacturers, suppliers and retailers worldwide.
Mastering compliance communications for the retail ecosystem
Krystal also develops rich, engaging content regarding chemical compliance and consumer product stewardship issues. Her publications provide actionable and timely guidance that empowers retail ecosystem participants to maintain compliance in an evolving regulatory framework, with a special focus on chemicals of concern such as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
With more than a decade in chemical testing and regulatory education for manufacturers and retailers, Krystal combines her experience as a chemical compliance leader at a major home goods manufacturer with her dedication to working for a safer world here at UL Solutions to provide our customers with data, insights and advice needed to go to market with confidence.
