Process excellence requires a systematic approach. Here are five steps to building and sustaining processes that add business value:

Identify goals.

  • Derive questions and metrics to measure performance and progress toward goals.

Analyze capability.

  • Prioritize changes and improvements.

Build process architecture and organization.

  • Perform trainings and other qualification measures.

Model and rollout processes.

Establish learning.
